Community Tree Planting Day

The Wilderness Society Southern Suburbs Team is hosting a tree planting day to re-vegetate a local site!
Date and Location
Saturday, August 5, 2017 - 10:00am to 1:00pm
The Wilderness Society (Southern Suburbs Team)
19A Barr St
Tarragindi QLD 4121

We are your neighbours and peers, and we have been working with the Wilderness Society to build a team of local people who can stand up for our shared values in Brisbane’s southern suburbs.

Join us as we launch our team to you, our community,  and invite you to get involved.

We are working with the Norman Creek Catchment Coordinating Committee, and together we will also be doing a tree planting on a local site in much need of revegetation. On the day we will plant many kinds of native species in pre prepared holes so there’s no digging.

Bring your kids, friends, and family along for a fun, educational, and impactful morning out. Food and drink will be provided, and you will hear from several great speakers (we have done the prep work so you won’t need to dig any holes!).
