The CWA connects communities in matters of health, transport and communications and are women who care for others and work together in a culture of friendship advocacy and personal development.

QCWA is a non-party political and non-sectarian organization
for both country and city women everywhere.
QCWA is a progressive and vibrant association in tune with the needs
of today’s women. It offers friendship, the pursuit of key social issues
and an opportunity to learn new skills e.g. Public Speaking, Drama,
Handcraft, Cooking, Photography, Patchwork, Knitting and Floral Art.
QCWA is affiliated with the Country Women’s Association of
Australia and the Associated Country Women of the World, helping
to raise the standard of living for women everywhere and expressing
women’s viewpoints on National and International affairs.
