STORY TIME IN THE GARDENS
Tuesdays 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th.
Enjoy story time in the gardens under the big shady fig tree on Wedding Lawn 2…and before or after story time, kids can explore the self-guided Hide ‘n’ Seek children’s trail. Trail takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

ACTIVE PARKS
Container gardening and companion planting
Sunday 15th
Learn the elements of healthy gardening in containers and how to incorporate companions. You will each have your own container garden to make and take home. Please bring water bottle, gloves, enclosed shoes, hat, sunscreen and some morning tea.

Origami Insects
Learn to make butterflies and ladybugs, to decorate cards or hang as a mobile.

Wacky Windmills
Draw crazy designs or gorgeous pictures on paper, then turn these
into windmills to display in your room or garden.
Time: 11am-12 noon and 1-2pm

Saturday 14 and
Fruit and vegetable printing
Sunday 15 Decorate paper and create some unique gift cards using vegetables and fruits
as printing tools.

GOLD Photographic safari
Monday 23rd
Learn to use your digital camera ‘off auto', lighting for landscapes and close up photography. Critique your photos amongst the group while having lunch.
Meet in the Japanese Garden.

Follow up your photographic safari with photo storage, using Picasa to produce a photo story.
