DISCO NAP "RUNNING RED LIGHTS" ALBUM LAUNCH @ THE TROUBADOUR
20 AUGUST 2010

Disco Nap is touring the nation in August/September in support of their debut album “Running Red Lights”, released nationally on August 20. To kick off the tour with a very special show in their home town, Disco Nap will be bringing an all star cast to The Troubadour, featuring guest appearances from fellow Brisbanites who played on the record including Seja Vogel on backing vocals and keys, Scott Bromiley (The John Steel Singers) on trumpet, Hannah Griffiths (Golden Virtues) on violin and Jane Elliott (Ed Kuepper) on cello.

Unearthed by Triple J for the Sounds of Spring Festival in late 2009 Disco Nap awakened interest across the nation with their first single ‘The Soft Sell’ which was embraced by triple j, rage, press, community radio and online media. The follow-up single ‘Home Karaoke’ hints at some of the variety and depth of songs on the album and has already been described as 90s sing-along Weezer-pop. Disco Nap tells lyrical tales of life, death, love and family with indie-pop whimsy.

Join Disco Nap as they launch their debut album Running Red Lights at the Troubadour on Friday August 20 with support from Dan Parsons and Blame Ringo.

09:00pm - Blame Ringo
