What is currently going on with the Trans Pacific Partnership ?

The Trans Pacific Partnership is a multilateral trade agreement that has been circulating for a few years. It has been met with a lot of criticism and has been turned on its head when the United States pulled out of the deal in January. This has caused trouble for the other states involved in the agreement as they try and reassess where the deal is heading and what is included in the deal. Australia has been a strong supporter of the TPP even though there is no clear benefit to being involved with the agreement but there are some potential dangers. 4ZZZ Reporter Jack McDonnell spoke with Dr Patricia Ranald who is the convenor of Australia Fair Trade and Investment Network about what is going on with the TPP and whether Australia's position is changing.
