Violence continues in Libya

Libyan rebels continue the struggle against Muammar Gaddafi’s forces, attempting to capture the Eastern oil town of Brega yesterday.

A streetwar erupted in the town, injuring 127 rebels attempting to bring an end to the 5 month long uprise against Gaddafi’s rule.

NATO forces continue strained attempts to negotiate with the Libyan leader, and concerns of a terrorist takeover of the nation have been raised by Libya’s neighbours and western governments.
