Zuckerburg maintains control of Facebook

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerburg is expected to retain control over the popular social-networking company even after the website goes public later this year.

Zuckerburg, who owns 28.2 per cent of the site will control 57 per cent of the voting shares, which will make Facebook a controlled company under the corporate governance rules, regardless of its public status.

Zuckerburg’s current share of the company is worth an estimated $28 billion dollars.
