Navy finds more asylum seekers

An Indonesian asylum seeker boat was found by the Australian Navy as it headed in the general direction of Christmas Island.

Approximately 180 asylum seekers were believed to be on board the boat, as it struggled against extremely rough waters and was reportedly taking water.

Despite the Navy’s warnings, the asylum seeker boat refused to turn back to Indonesia according to Indonesian rescue agency Basarnas.
