Misleading carbon tax ads

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission claims the advertising by ACT Renewable Energy and Polaris Solar states the carbon tax would increase electricity prices 20 per cent this year and 400 per cent by 2019. ACCC deputy chairman Michael Schaper says the solar companies were using misleading information and tactics in order for more people to buy solar panels.
