NSW Police lie about an incident involving an Aboriginal man

The officers falsely claimed that the man had attacked them in a northern NSW police station despite CCTV footage proving otherwise. The matter has been passed on to the Police Integrity Commission. Ballina Local Court Magistrate David Heilpern says that false claims have caused the “administration of justice to be debased”.
