Anti-Aircraft Missiles on London Roof

Residents of East London apartments are heading to the High Court to contest the installation of anti-aircraft missiles on their apartment block roof during the Olympics.

The council flat towers are close to Olympic Park and have been chosen to house the missiles due to their strategic position to defend against possible terrorist attack.

Residents were informed of the presence of the missiles through a leaflet drop.

Lawyers say the missile placement is an infringement of human rights and could make the towers a terrorist target.
