Human Rights chief defends policy

Coalition spokesman Scott Morrison says the current treaty gives aid to comfort people smugglers who are taking advantage of the current system. President of the Australian Human Rights Commission Catherine Branson, QC, says a lot of laws have been written around the policy and evidence still stands to show the treaty is working.
