Ecuador to protect Assange

Lawyers representing Assange believe that Swedish authorities have made secret plans to extradite Assange to the US to face charges for conspiracy to commit espionage. Assange first sought refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy on 19 June after a warrant for his arrest was released by the London Metropolitan Police Service.
