Human Rights Commission wants refugee changes

The Human Rights Commission says significant changes are needed to the Federal Government’s refugee system.

The report, which came out yesterday has called the government to increase the number of community placements for asylum seekers.

There are currently seventy asylum seekers living with Australian families and there are plans to increase the number of placements in 2013 to one hundred every fortnight.
