RBH $50 million budget cut

Concerns have been raised regarding a fifty million dollar budget cut of Queensland’s largest hospital.

The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital will lose funding of around one million dollars a week.

Secretary of Together Queensland, Alex Scott, says “people’s lives are going to be put at risk”.

Last month, figures showed that elective surgery was cut back as much as nineteen per cent.
