Cuttlefish numbers drop

The species is found in the upper Spencer Gulf in South Australia, which is the only place they can breed in high numbers. The South Australian government is conducting surveys this season to find out the cause for the reduction in cuttlefish as this is the second year in a row their numbers have been low.
