QLD farming in good shape
A biennial survey of rural debt released yesterday shows optimism in Queensland agriculture and reveals the overall state of farm debt in Queensland is good.
Queensland Farmers Federation CEO, Dan Galligan says the survey was a key indicator for debt situations in Queensland Farms. He says that although there was an increase in debt levels, it wasn't a surprise and should be seen as a real positive.
The Farm sector will have to be cautious with its debt to continue to ensure that it is manageable.
