Delegations over race-based laws rejected by government

The new laws subject Aboriginal people to income management regimes and prohibition of alcohol while non-indigenous people around there are free from those same laws. The government promised in 2010 that all new laws introduced into the Parliament would be checked to ensure compliance with Australia's international human rights obligations. However the government is refusing to respond calls for scrutiny of the Bills or to be accountable for introducing race-based laws.
