Life-saving Indigenous legal service secures funds to continue

The announcement comes as great news for NSW Aboriginal Legal Services, following months of deliberation between the Federal and NSW Governments on who should fund the service. After both governments continually refused, an online petition of over 33,000 signatures was sent to both governments. Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus confirmed commonwealth funds for the service last week.
