Indigenous women and children's safety could be threatened

The High Court will reach their verdict on Wednesday as to whether strict alcohol plans in place in Indigenous communities are discriminatory. Queensland Police Union president Ian Leavers says women and children could be subjected to domestic and sexual violence if the bans are lifted.
