QLD Government has reservations on referendum question

Voters will be asked to recognise local councils in the constitution at the September federal election. But State Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie (Blay) says legal advice confirms the referendum question would allow the Federal Government to control councils by placing conditions on direct funding.
