American investment to support renewable energy in Australia

The backer, Denham Capital has committed 20% of its $3billion investment fund to renewable energy and is backing Australian projects because of government support for renewable energy. The three projects will provide one gigawatt of electricity, equivalent to 7% of the energy consumption in Queensland.
