Terrorist plot uncovered in Moscow
Two militants believed to have been involved in the plot were killed and another detained. Officers from the FSB, the Soviet-era KGB’s successor, said that they believe the terrorists were trained in the Afghan-Pakistan region.
The terrorism incident in Russia wasn’t an isolated one, either. Two car blasts struck the city of Makhachkala in the southern Russian region of Dagestan on Monday, killing four people and injuring 35.
