Rudd pledges support for gay marriage

Ms Gillard does not support same-sex marriage, although she has allowed Labor MPs a conscience vote on the issue. Mr Rudd has said he has changed his mind after a "lot of reflection' and discussions with friends, family, in addition to a former staff member who is openly gay.
