Abbott under pressure to privatise ABC, SBS

The party said the ABC and SBS are finding it increasingly difficult to comply with their respective charters, and are no longer valid in 2013. Shadow Communications Minister Malcolm Turnbull maintained his party has ‘no plans to privatise the ABC’ and Tony Abbott said his party will ‘not go down that path’.
