Chain of red lights on Brisbane roads ‘no coincidence’

Councillor Schrinner explained red and green lights in Brisbane are coordinated by a computer program called SCATS to run in sets along road corridors. He says ‘If a driver hits a red light, they’re likely to continue to hit red lights for the rest of their trip. Conversely, drivers who pass green lights will continue to pass green lights along that road corridor.
