High Indigenous incarceration rates need attention

Their report found that an Indigenous adult would be 14 times more likely to find themselves incarcerated that someone who identifies as non-indigenous. Indigenous youths are also 28 percent more likely to be in the same situation than a non-indigenous youth. Amnesty International have stated that this issue needs to be addressed by Australia.
