Newman's bus review trumps Brisbane City Council

Independent councillor from Tennyson ward Nicole Johnston has called for the review to be discussed by the council, but was voted down. Cr Johnston says that the review must be addressed by the council before the state government begin their review. Public feedback on the nine bus routes to be cut and 80 adjustments to bus timetables closed on Monday night, and are now in the hands of Transport Minister Scott Emerson.
