Claims of abuse at Bundaberg aged home

An aged care home in Bundaberg has carried out an investigation into claims of abuse between the homes residents.

The Kepnock Grove facility denied claims that they tried to cover up the incident.

The investigation came after a resident at the home complained some residents suffering from dementia were allowed to assault others.

Carinity Baptist Community Services who run the home say changes to systems and procedures have been since been made.

The matter has not yet been look into my Queensland’s new Minister for Seniors Coralee O’Rourke.
