Megaherzzz is part of 4ZzZfm's community philosophy. Our show is the station's all women and feminist radio program featuring music by women for women, as well as news, views and activist information.
We subscribe to the feminist ideology that the private is political. So we are real women being real about our lives, experiences, and what is happening in the world.

When 4ZZZ starting broadcasting on 8th December 1975 it was with a low power licence. Zed was eventually granted a full licence on 30th November 1978. When this happened 4ZZZ was ready to commence broadcasting from Mt Coot-tha to the greater Brisbane area because some very nice hard working people had built a transmitter hut and mast there for them prior to them being granted the licence.
