The Triple Zed newsroom has a strong history of providing a quality independent news service for the Brisbane community. We provide a forum for many important local and international issues which are ignored or distorted by the mainstream media. In doing so we go beyond the 30 second news grab, and strive to delve further into issues which affect our lives and that of our planet.

Each weekday you'll now be able to get a fill of all the alternative news you need with bulletins at 9am, 10am, and 11am thanks to the newsroom interns!

The newsroom, run entirely by volunteers at the station has collected the award for "Youth Contribution" to a community radio station. You may be surprised to hear that the majority of 4ZZZ newsroom volunteers are under 26 and they diligently prepare news bulletins each weekday and put together three current affairs programs, BrisbaneLine, each week.
