Richard LawsonBread and Water

Even before unleashing the majesty of this album unto my eardrums, I knew straight away, simply from the cover art, that this was going to be THE GREATEST ALBUM EVER! It’s just Richard Lawson doing what Richard Lawson does best, rocking the hell out of that electric keyboard.

The songs on the album weave lyrical gold with lines such as “Everything you see or do turns to gold, is it your deodorant or is it your mouthwash?” (Magic Touch, Track two) Or in track 10 where he sporadically sings about public transport in the appropriately titled song Transport Pt 2. I am going to go ahead and assume that Transport Pt 1 was a chart topper.

In all honesty the songs are fun and different. The only criticism I have is the use of the Disney-ish font on the back cover, making it look strangely similar to a Disney Princess Best Of album
