The Veils could be any old British indie-rock band but for Finn Andrews' penchant for extremely grim lyrics. Indeed the stench of disaster and apocalypse seems to haunt every song they make. It doesn't weigh you down, though, imparting instead an electric thrill that makes The Veils a genuinely exciting band to listen to.
