Live Review
Juñor @ The Milk Factory
And as always I get to the milk factory just a little early, well about an hour earlier than needed, but this is the opportune time to grab a refreshing beverage as I wait for our first acts.
To start out the night Swilo took to the stage with an energy deserving of the sound he has brought to Brisbane. The smaller venue meant an almost more intimate and relaxed feeling to the performance while still staying true to his nature as a performing artist. Swilo’s mind-blowing track ‘Sizzle’ made an appearance as well.
Midas.Gold and Carmouflage Rose seemingly started their performance out of nowhere, with much surprised joy from the crowd as the two started. The energy in their performance was fantastic, bouncing from one another in a flurry of flouncing ponchos and solidly hitting vocals.
Finally Juñor took up the mantle to finalise the night, and it went off with a bang. A well rounded and fantastic end to the evening, with fantastically trippy music and thought provoking vocals, and the connection he had with his audience made the performance absolutely fantastic. To anyone who has not yet had the chance, I would recommend listening to some of Junor’s music, especially on cold days like these.
