Ephemeris bring to life a new Oz music history via classic psychedelia and multimedia wizardry. This forward-thinking retrospective sideshow proves that acid rock will not lay down and die.
Australian progressive rock binds this collection of old and new together. Ephemeris blend inspiration from the forgotten warriors of Australian rock and the songs that were so massive they defined a generation with cutting edge songwriting and plenty of genuine instrumental talent.

Ephemeris assemble crack film, technology, art and sound experts from all over Northern NSW, ACT and Queensland, recruited to build this new media production.
Driven by Brisbane Musical Director and bassist Stavros Tsolakides (Acca Dacca tribute show, The Snatch), Redcliffe boys: guitar guru Lock Bovill (Inrush, The Snatch), leading man Tom Shapland (Inrush) and sensational drummer Damon "DJ" Joel (The Snatch, Snake) join Cairns master string strangler Mick Constantinides (Slaves of Roswell) and the psychedelic Hammond organ sound of Emma Shapland (The Cliffes, Inrush) to form Ephemeris.

Creator, Julia Hine has worked in the Brisbane live music scene since 1992. After studying at the University of Queensland and performing in numerous jazz, folk, blues and rock combinations covering almost every venue in Brisbane, she served her time in theatre with Citrus Witches and Vulcana Women's Circus. After two successful seasons at the Powerhouse Centre for the Live Arts, she retired to Lismore, Northern NSW to renew herself and begin a major opus to feature her uniquely powerful voice.

4ZzZ's famous slogan Agitate. Educate. Organise. came from the International Workers of the World who used it as a slogan in 1910. It was also used in the song Big Decision by Irish band That Petrol Emotion in the late 80's.
