Alla Spina
New Wave/Pop Punk/Ska
Influenced by various forms of music, Alla Spina (“pumped up” in Italian), play music inflected by punk, rock, pop and ska. The band strive to transcend musical and social boundaries by sticking to a “no boundaries” formula to their hybrid sound and write about breaking stereotypes and following one’s own path.
In February 2011, the band was involved in the AMRAP released “In between” album which brought together a selection of up and coming multicultural artists from Australia. Alla Spina contributed 2 songs, “Home” and the ska tinged “Tony”, the re-recorded version of the latter will feature on its debut E.P. set to be released in mid 2012.
