After 4ZZZ was evicted from its UQ premises in 1988, staff temporarily broadcast from the Mouth Coot-tha transmission tower, using a cassette player which was set up to go straight to air.

..began early transmitions in late 2007 with a host of shows Bang-Smack in the middle of the city's musical heart on The Valley Mall stage. The year that followed saw singer/songwriter Murray Johnstone joined by a shape-shifting collective of his long time and respected musical friends while working towards a self-produced / recorded release.
2009 was a "solid state" of affairs for the band as they put away their musical soldering irons and released the debut ep "Be my Guest"
