When 4ZZZ's original space was being built by hand under the Schonell Theatre at Queensland University, a baby grand piano from the theatre above was bricked in to Studio 3. We don't know how they got it out...

Audience: people with a sense of humour, punters who enjoy tight rock. ZZZ radio Listeners.
Genre: Mostly Rock ,we play a lot of punk shows also going well at heavy rock shows and all ages events with mixed genres .
Goldstool began around 2007 with a view to play fun driving rock influenced by Australian & international acts like Radio Birdman, Angels,Rose tattoo, The Damned, Buzzcocks, Devo, the Stooges & many more. We have played most of Brisbane's prominent and small venues supporting and headlining with many popular acts like Mick Medew & the Rumours, 111, Mouthguard, The Jim Rockfords, Celebrity Stalkers & many more.
Currently recording our first official E.P to be released September 2011, note our previous recordings
have received favorable airplay over the past 3 years.

Goldstool have a strong set of Originals and some covers they are continually asked back to play more shows by other bands and venues. Also they have been active in community support with fundraisers for Mater Hospital, Spresser fest, Flood benefits and are a Radio ZZZ subscriber band.
