Before 4ZZ could start broadcasting in 1975, a transmitter was ordered from the U.S. But after it was lost on the dock in New York, 4ZZ's chief engineer at the time Ross Dannecker built the station's first transmitter.
Harley Young
Since the beginning of 2011, Harley Young, of Ridgeback County, has been working on his solo form.
His new venture, unlike the band, is best described as alt/country/pop.
The gentleman has managed to finally disguise his fear of the lime light and is now taking his one man show for the road test.
He is a one man wolf pack and hopes to deliver like a classy colt, with grace and temperance.
What to expect? Harley Young loves Brisbane and in particular, Sandgate - Expect his best musical attempt at north side suburbia, fried in the drippings of Paul Westerberg and Bruce Springsteen’s Nebraska.
