Danny WX

DANNY WX is the solo, mostly electronic project of Danny, who was previously known as Captain Cake and is the lead vocalist of Brisbane band Canny and Hall.  While it’s officially a vehicle for making any kind of music Danny wants, most of Danny WX’s output is a mix of comedy and quirky pop songs with the occasional ambient instrumental thrown in. Live performances feature lots of electro beats, jumping around and shouting, plus the occasional strum of an acoustic guitar. Danny’s influences include TISM and Charli XCX.
