The Howls

They’ve taken their music experience, added it with some life experience, rolled in some vintage garage rock hooks and written a bunch of songs that hang together like a good rock show should.

The HOWLS are a Brisbane based five piece rock band who
have been together since early 2010 - writing, rehearsing,
recording and playing shows. Each member has played in
Brisbane bands of different styles over the years and have
always been part of our strong indie music scene.

With The HOWLS they’ve taken their music experience,
added it with some life experience, rolled in some vintage
garage rock hooks and written a bunch of songs that hang
together like a good rock show should.
Proving that they’re onto something good, after recording a
demo EP in November 2010, their song ‘Saturday Night’ has
been picked up as the soundtrack to a car ad currently being
played on national TV and radio.

2011 has been busy with the band playing shows at some of
our most iconic local venues like Ric’s, The Orient and The
Globe. A highlight was a set on the main stage at Home
Festival in June to a massively appreciative audience.
