Love Hate Rebellion

listeners know they have been touched by something special

Once upon a time, Ariana Pelser (ex professional tennis player) travelled halfway across the world for the sole purpose of stumbling drunkenly into James Trevor Sky (KUNST, Flowers For Lily) and Andrew Darveniza, (The Andrew Darveniza Experience). After dancing for hours like Tim Burton characters in the depths of a gay bar, the trio pledged themselves to true love, life affirming depressive states, and each other. With this pact, Love Hate Rebellion was born. Shortly after they were joined by Rachel Pelser (The Ovaries/The Boys), and the lineup was complete.

The band states the body of their (as yet unreleased) work is defined by a journey into the human spirit via largely romantic themes; discussed in a mix of real world and fantastic existential settings. The music is also an exploration into the myriad realms of human suffering, but much in the tradition of Richard Matheson's 'What Dreams May Come' wherein infinitely tragic events and emotions eventually culminate in catharsis, leaving the listener with hope for the future. After hearing Love Hate Rebellion perform, listeners know they have been touched by something special.

The band are not fans of Nietzsche, and as romantic followers of the great old Indie bands, are actively fighting against the monster that Indie music has become.

Love Hate Rebellion are currently working on their debut release.
