On 14 December 1988, 4ZZZ was taken off air and forcibly evicted from its UQ premises by the then student union executive, headed by one Victoria Brazil. The move prompted many previously apolitical students to take a firm stand against the move and to rally support for the station. While Zed was not to return to the premises its' volunteers had helped hand-build, unprecedented community support saw the station live to fight another day.
Metalwrath
Guitar driven, drum heavy, hardcore grooves
MetalWrath formed in 2011 realeasing a self titled EP/Demo and began gigging extensively. In early 2012 they released thier follow up EP "Nothing and Nowhere".
With gigs lined up in their home town and interstate, the next 12 months will proove to be a busy time for the Wrath boys who are currently in the process of making a new music video to be released in May 2012 to accompany the lead single The Nightmare off Nothing and Nowhere, as a follow up to the music video Poor Man.
With new songs already written to accompany a dynamically changing set list and a high energy and infectious live show MetalWrath is fast becoming a band you have to put on your must see list.
