Nila Bonda

Nila Bonda has a unique sound combining fuzz-driven riffs and polished bass grooves with dynamic percussion, drawing influences from Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, QATSA, Muse, and pretty much anything Jack White has ever touched. Check 'em out, you probably won't regret it.

First time you ever listened to 4ZZZ?

A few years ago, stumbled upon The Witching Hour on Saturday night. Had a few laughs, and have been a regular listener of the station since.

First time you were ever played on 4ZZZ?
We have just released our debut single so hopefully soon :)

First gig you ever played?
A very very cool house party at the .3unker in Woolloongabba, oh how time flies!

Funniest on-stage f##k up?

All of us took full advantage of the pubs 'happy hour' and we were completely smashed. Our guitarist had a patch lead problem so he tried to fix it with his foot mid-song but ended up booting his Wah across the room. Obvs it did not fix it. We cleared the room, all that was left were some dear friends of
ours who stayed til the end, bless their hearts.Worst. Gig. Ever. We still talk about it, lol.

If you could play with one band/muso (dead or alive) in the 4ZZZ carpark who +why?

Outside of the obvious 'give me Led Zep' we reckon Baltimore Gun Club. Best lads ever and always a fun time!!
