4ZZZ launched its glorious tradition of counting down listeners' 100 favourite songs on New Year's Day 1977. More than 10 years later, 2JJJ in Sydney (which employed many ex-Zed staff) began conducting its own Hot 100. Because 4ZZZ held the rights to the name Hot 100, there was a little bit of legal biffo when TripleJ became a national broadcaster, so they changed the name of their survey to the "Hottest 100".
Scenic Tour
A ecclectic mix of original, quirky, jazz infused tunes.
The band comprises of the vibrant Jacinta on vocals/violin, Count Dracula and Armand on guitars, George "Dar" Clooney on funky bass and the ever positive Damo with his wonderful drum and conga rhythms. Their music takes you on a cinematic journey, departing with the wretched, tequila soaked Mexican heartbreak of "Señorita", propelling to the dark cosmos of "Shooting Star", orbiting to the sounds of teenage torment in "Somethings Are Meant to Be" and finally alighting to a "Greek Island Disco".........enjoy the tour. Cha Cha Cha Cha. .. ..
