“54, NO MORE!” Were just one of the many chants echoed through the nationwide rallies organised by not-for-profit organisation What Were You Wearing, calling for an end to gendered violence, in memory of the 54 women who have been reported killed at the hands of male violence. 4ZZZ journalists Jaya Lichy and Lauren Bartholomew spoke to organisers, keynote speakers and members of the public about the rally and the conversations it's starting.
