Rando guarantee! Qld country singer, “I wrote ‘Road Signs’ with Gavin Carfoot late 2024 after facing some career setbacks that had me feeling pretty defeated at the time,” says Josie. “I needed to remind myself that it was just one of those rusty signs on the side of the road pointing me in the right direction. If I wasn’t paying attention chances are I’d be headed the wrong way, so this song really just helped me look at life’s many dilemmas in a different light and work my way back onto my path. Sometimes you just need to slow down and listen to them ol’ road signs.”

Ranso guarantee! Naarm/Melbourne indie-pop singer-songwriter Subaru’ was born out of an experience I had where my safety was compromised on a walk home. This theme is so common for women and changes how we navigate life. On a day-to-day basis we alter the decisions we make so we aren’t vulnerable to people with bad intentions. I hope this song can make people feel validated in their experiences, big or small, it just shouldn’t be a reality for anyone.”
Rando guarantee! “This song is about distracting yourself from heartbreak with nights out, loud music, playing shows and meeting strangers. It’s about seeking out environments where you are physically surrounded by people, chaos, lights and music as some form of bandaid solution, and then crying about how lonely you are deep down,
Rando guarantee! Naarm/Melbourne indie five-piece, “‘Blue Bricks’ is about accepting the limits of each moment and finding peace in being as close to things as you are,”
Rando guarantee! Naarm, Australia with Chilean heritage has released debut EP CRY UNTIL WE LAUGH. embodies the heart of the EP, surrendering to joy, trusting others to hold you through pain, and discovering strength in togetherness. A hopeful and euphoric reflection on community, resilience, and purpose, this song is about rebuilding yourself through love, connection, and trusting the people who help you start again
Rando guarantee! Naarm-Mel indie-pop, This song feels like the last little piece of my Teenage hood. I had a really hard time fitting in growing up and I think this song came from trying to make sense of feelings I didn’t really have the words for back then. I stick to the belief that it’s an artists job to create the music from experience but once it’s shared it doesn’t belong to you anymore. If this song finds someone who feels the same way, or makes them feel understood for even a moment, that means everything to me.
Rando guarantee! Naarm/Mel DJ & produer debut
Rando excluZZZive! Dja Dja Wurrung Country/Castlemaine-based multi-award-winning songwriter, musician, advocate and writer, first music in 3 years, emotional journey through womanhood while "feeling completely lost... moving toward midlife [and] becoming undone - questioning everything, wanting more, wanting less, changing shape in real time".
Rando guarantee! DJ and drag queen, track is a euphoric moment of reflection. Blending nostalgic pop and club-ready beats, the lyrics detail a certain realisation - for Jimi, school age fantasies have become her reality: “I never thought I’d get here, but I got it.”
Rando guarantee! Boorloo/Perth-based artist EDIE shares her sophomore EP, ‘Garden of Edie’, on Thursday, June 4. ‘Chemical’ channels emotional overwhelm through oscillating synths, manipulated, trance-gate vocals and pulsating bass, capturing the experience of obsessive thoughts replaying on a loop.
Rando guarantee! Debut LP Desire Is An Angel, out October 2. "I wrote ‘Art of Suggestion’ about being swept away by the undertow of desire. Before confirmation is revealed and you know someone is interested in you, there is a heavy, electrifying drive to project your desires onto them. Daydreaming has taught me that sometimes, the exhilaration of seduction is less about contact and more about the unknown,"
