Community radio in Australia now reaches nearly 6,000,000 listeners each week. That’s a fair chunk of the nation regularly tuning in to hear grassroots culture in action, and Australian music is a big part of that.
To celebrate the amazing work community radio does nationwide through more than 400 stations, on Tuesday September 3, Brisbane’s 4ZZZ with the CBAA’s Amrap (Australian Music Radio Airplay Project) presents Sounds Like Community Radio - a live broadcast featuring some of the most exciting artists working in Australian music today, hosted by the people who bring them to your ears each week.
A stellar lineup this year, live sets from the carpark and studio 3, and wonderful guests from ThreeD, RRR, 2SER, CBAA and Edge. Your hosts this year are Jordan, Cassidy and Ian with live sets produced by Natalia in studio 3 and Caitlin in the carpark.
