4ZZZ 40th Birthday 10 Day Celebration!

Throughout the 10-days of celebrations from December 4 to 13, we'll be running plenty of Special On-Air programming, including on our official birthday, December 8, a special news and current affairs retrospective showcase with a re-broadcast of our first 1975 broadcast at Midday, along with an afternoon and evening celebrating Brisbane music over the last 40 years and 4ZZZ's heavy involvement. We'll also be featuring throughout the week a return of former announcers from the last four decades back to the mics to present their memories and music!   DECEMBER 4, 5PM:
 4ZZZ 40TH BIRTHDAY NIGHT MARKET presented by the Old Museum Summer Night Markets, taking place from 5pm to 10pm on Friday 
December 4. With a fantastic line up of acts spanning the decades including Velociraptor, Blank Realm, Gentle Ben and His Sensitive Side, Monster Zoku Onsomb and seminal Brisbane bands Xero & The Leftovers.
