Shelter Needed With Homelessness On Rise

With 16 per cent of honeless services struggling to reach demand, Homelessness rates in Brisbane continue to rise. The Lady Musgrave Trust is a not-for-profit organisation striving to provide shelter for young homeless women who comprise a majority of the people representing the increase in homelessness. Brisbane Line reporter Adam Jeffrey spoke to CEO of The Lady Musgrave Trust, Beryce Nelson about the factors exacerbating the homeless issue in Brisbane and what the organisation is trying to do to turn the rend around.
